Cross-Platform Trends, Deeper Creator Shortlists
Trend clusters now include TikTok
When you explore a trend cluster, you now see posts from both TikTok and Instagram. Previously, trend clusters only surfaced Instagram posts — meaning TikTok conversations that were part of the same trend were invisible. Since trend runs cluster content across both platforms by default, this was silently hiding a significant portion of the conversation. Now you get the complete cross-platform view, and every post is labeled with its platform so you can see exactly where the conversation is happening.
What this means for you
- See the full picture on any trend. If a trend is primarily TikTok-driven, you'll now see those posts instead of a confusingly sparse or Instagram-only set. Trends that look small on one platform might be massive on the other — now you know.
- Filter by platform when it matters. A new platform filter lets you isolate Instagram or TikTok posts within any trend cluster, so you can compare how a topic plays differently across platforms.
Eve searches a much larger creator pool
When you ask Eve to build a creator shortlist, she now considers up to 500 ranked candidates instead of cutting off at the top 40. Creators who match your criteria but weren't in the initial volume-ranked slice are no longer lost — especially important for briefs targeting specific niches, locations, or follower sizes.
What this means for you
- Broader, more precise shortlists. Constraints like "large following," "based in Miami," or "active on both platforms" now search across the full candidate pool. Creators who post less frequently but match your criteria perfectly are no longer filtered out early.
- Niche briefs work better. For narrow campaign briefs — a specific aesthetic, a particular audience segment, creators in a specific city — Eve has over 10x more candidates to filter through, so the shortlists she returns are more likely to include exactly who you're looking for.
Also in this release
- Audience breakdown on trend clusters. Each cluster now shows who's driving the conversation — creators, brands, or media outlets — with journalism percentages and top media posts highlighted.
- Feed errors now show a message. Previously, certain feed errors (like clicking "similar posts" on a post with missing data) would show a blank page with no explanation. Now you'll see a clear error message so you know what happened.
- Deleted chat links handled gracefully. Opening a link to a deleted or inaccessible chat no longer crashes — you'll see a clear message, and any message you were typing is preserved so you don't lose your work.
- More reliable API connections. MCP API clients no longer receive false authentication errors during brief database maintenance windows.
